Located by a picturesque lake surrounded by lush greenery, this hotel offers a serene and peaceful ambiance to guests. The sports facilities are ample, offering many options for leisure activities such as tennis and volleyball. The presence of animals such as horses, donkeys and chickens adds a unique touch to the overall experience.
The staff did not live up to our expectations, as they were impolite, rude and unprofessional. They were not accommodating when we asked for new towels, and the breakfast was sub-par, with cold coffee and empty trays that were not replenished in a timely manner.

Great location next to a lake and plenty of greenery. the hotel offered sports facilities like volleyball, tennis, and badminton, which really made our stay more fun. the staff were also friendly and helpful.
Not everything was perfect. the furniture was a bit worn out and the rooms lacked air conditioning, making it uncomfortable to sleep in.

The hotel is a nice place in a wonderful, rural location with plenty of peace and quiet. The owners were pleasant, but we shared relatively few words in common. Everything was quite adequate, including a good continental- style breakfast. We wouldn't have any problem returning to Hotel Kanu in the future. It was a great alternative to staying downtown in Ljubljana.
We had only one problem: we had no good directions to this place, and our gps wasn't of much help. We found it by asking locally and showing people a photograph of the place.

This is was my second time at the hotel. This time in cold winter time. But I was provided with nice hot pot of tea every afternoon. Owners were also very helpfull and friendly. Thanks again for the lovely trout for dinner :)

Kind staff, good buffet breakfast, quite cheap. Ljubljana easy to reach by car.
Pretty cold rooms...there was just a fun heating the bedroom. Quite difficult to find the right direction to find the hotel.
